A New Perspective on the Knole Settee

The Knole Settee remains a timeless classic, still popular today. Its striking form has been a source of inspiration to us in the design of our latest garden bench.

 New to the Sitting Spiritually Range for 2019 is The Knole Garden Bench.

The Knole Settee was first made in the 17th Century & housed at Knole Park in Kent, now a National Trust property. As with the original, the Sitting Spiritually Knole Garden bench features adjustable sides for back rest adjustment, or when extended fully for holding a drink & book. With striking wooden finials at the rear corner tops and with the sides at the same height as the back, tied by means of hempex rope secured in place via the finials.  Also, the seat has good depth for extra comfort, as with the original Knole Settee.

Made by Sitting Spiritually’s small team of craftsmen in their Devon & Dorset Workshops from FSC Oak. 

Sitting Spiritually believe the Knole Garden Bench is unique in the garden furniture realm today and will enhance many different styles of Garden Design, be they modern, contemporary or traditional.
