We’re always excited to launch a new product and The Affinity Accoya Garden Swing seat is with us just in time to welcome Autumn, because after all, who says garden furniture is just for Summer, we always say there's something rather lovely about sitting outside gently swinging, with a hot toddy to hand, on a crisp Wintery day.
Merging modern techniques and our customary classic designs the Affinity Swing Seat in Painted Accoya redefines the benchmark for painted garden furniture, so often seen as painted pine, by introducing the unrivalled performance of Accoya wood.
Your Affinity Accoya starts life as 30-year old Monterey Pine lovingly grown in a sustainable wood farm. It becomes Accoya after passing through a process known as acetylation, this process modifies the cell structure of the wood reducing the ability to absorb water in the cell walls by about 80% and also greatly improves both dimensional stability and durability.
Accoya® is wood, but not as you or we know it. It is a modified timber with a cutting-edge patented technology, which enables it to resist rot, defy the elements and stay strong for decades. With a 25 year warranty the performance and properties of Accoya are remarkable.
In keeping with our long established ethos, this stable, durable and versatile wood is sustainably sourced with FSC certification and it has minimal environmental impact throughout its entire life.
Based on the same range of designs as our ever popular Kyokusen, Tranquillity, Serenity and Harmony the Affinity Garden Swing Seat comes in a choice of five back shapes and with a range of accessories and colours available to ensure your painted swing seat is one of a kind.
The Affinity Swing Seat receives a four coat sprayed paint system in your colour of choice using Farrow and Ball exterior Eggshell. This advanced build and spray system results in a very high long-lasting finish.
We are confident the Affinity Accoya will become a customer favourite alongside our already established ranges & we hope you will love it as much as we do, we’re really rather excited about it.
