As we enter into late Summer, we have seen an absolutely unprecedented level of orders this year, even exceeding our times at Chelsea Flower Show. Working quietly behind the scenes has been our amazing team of makers, often working seven days a week to ensure they meet our deadlines to get commissions to our customers. When you receive your commission, attached to it will be our Little Book of Care and a card telling you who made your piece for you.
We felt it was timely to shine the spotlight on our magnificent team again.....
ALEX DE BONO
Alex joined Sitting Spiritually in 2013. His connection with working with timber started at an early age with his Father who was a highly skilled Carpenter/Joiner. Having spent a number of years since leaving school working within the construction industry, Alex decided to return to his roots and set up his own joinery workshop in 2011. If you order a pergola to be installed by us, it will be Alex who visits you to deliver and build your pergola on site, he offers a fantastic service and out customers love him!
GREG SHANNON
Greg works along side his Father, Nick Shannon, a Furniture Restorer, in the woodwork trade. His relationship with Sitting Spiritually is a family affair. Nick was involved with Sitting Spiritually at the very start in 2004, taking on commissions alongside his own work, this then passed to Maisie, Greg's sister who took on the mantle of female maker before becoming our cushion maker. Greg then took the reins and became a full time maker for Sitting Spiritually, working from his workshop in Seatown, Dorset.

STEVE WOOD
We have recently been delighted to welcome Steve back to the fold. He was a maker for Sitting Spiritually in the very early days, before taking a lengthy sabbatical to pursue his own interests. Steve joined us again this Summer and it is a joy to have him back on board. Steve has a particular skill in hand carving, and is currently working with us on a new, exciting, under wraps bench, to be launched early next year (all will be revealed!)
